After waking up early to secure the wedding license at City Hall and picking up some pastries & coffee, we met with the Officiant around 10:30 for a few minutes before having a short and sweet ceremony in our living room.  

At this point, we had been engaged for about 14 hours.

A few friends who (mostly) live in the neighbourhood joined us for the ceremony and to celebrate with a toast. This was right around the time Carly found about our trip to Paris.
